What's included
Come to the stables for the afternoon where you will make new friends, both two and four legged and learn all about looking after and riding horses. The experience runs for three hours from 1.30pm - 4.30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout school holidays. During this experience you will spend approximately 2 hours riding. You will have lots of hands on time with our ponies learning to care for, brush and plait them before getting kitted up for your lesson! The lesson takes place in our large outdoor arena where you receive instruction depending on your ability.
The afternoon may include - Jumping, mounted games, cross country or maybe even a hack out around one of our pretty local villages!
Voucher
Each voucher entitles
one person
to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that
anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact
the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.
Special Conditions
Minimum age 5 years. Riders MUST be able to canter and jump small fences competently.
Hats are available at no extra cost. Please wear long trousers, gloves and shoes with a half inch heel. No trainers, sandals or loose/flappy clothing permitted. All hair must be neat and tidy/tied back.
The lesson will take place outdoors so please come dressed appropriately for the weather (e.g. waterproofs/warm clothes/sun tan cream!).
Courses only available at certain times/days. Riding is a high risk activity, ALL medical problems and obstacles to learning (including but not limited to hearing problems and learning difficulties) must be disclosed to staff before riding.
Booking your event
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen
date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
